Our Story
Washington Township Youth Football is a volunteer-supported youth football organization dedicated to developing athletes through teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and leadership. For years, WTYF has served the Washington Township community by providing a safe, structured, and welcoming environment where kids ages 5–14 can learn the game of football while building character that carries far beyond the field.
Every coach, board member, and team parent in our organization is a volunteer — parents, alumni, and community members who believe deeply in the value youth sports bring to a child's development. We're proud to be home of the 2025 95 lb & 110 lb Champion Minutemen.

Township Ordinance Information
WTYF operates in accordance with Washington Township ordinances governing youth sports organizations' use of municipal fields and facilities, including the Micucci Football Complex. All practices and games comply with township scheduling, safety, and facility-use guidelines. Contact the Washington Township Parks & Recreation Department for full ordinance details.
Background Check Requirements
All WTYF coaches, board members, and team volunteers who have direct contact with athletes are required to complete a background check prior to the season, in accordance with league and township child safety policies. This ensures a safe environment for every player in our program.
